• Company Overview: The branch of the Gambian government that is responsible for the design, construction and supervision of government construction projects. As an architect I was involved in several projects. Some are listed below:
• Lead architect for the design of an eco-friendly building for the ministry of Environment.
• Project architect for the African Development Bank funded FASDEP project.
• Project Manager for the renovation of the Ministry of works office complex.

This project, commissioned by the German Federal Foreign Office and co-funded by the European Union. My role within the project involves:

• Coordinating and managing all activities on construction measures of the Gambia component.
• Provide advice for all construction-related measures within the EU-Cofinancing arrangement including technical advice, quality control and assurance during the planning and implementation of construction and infrastructure measures.
• Support in the general planning and guidance of the construction projects with emphasis on the construction component and site supervision in different locations in the Gambia.
• Planning and organizing regular coordination meetings with all the actors involved in construction, in consultation with the Senior Construction Manager.
• Ensuring communication between companies, consultant and the project.
