Oversee the unit's Waste management and provide technical advice on optimizing the waste management streams in the unit, especially Biomedical Waste, Plastic waste, and organic waste management and practices.
Contribute to the Unit's Energy and Carbon Management Plan.
Supervise the Unit's Efforts to recycle Plastic Waste through 3D Printing technology and Food and Green Waste into Biogas and Compost for use in the Unit.
Undertake the planning, installation, and integration of equipment and devices related to waste management and recycling.
Coordinate Technical services support to external partner institutions and collaborators.

Review requests for HVAC and design appropriate energy efficient HVAC systems as per requests while considering new and innovative technologies in the industry.
Support the Biomedical Engineering manager in the management of all the assets life cycle from design to technical advice by specification for procurement to decommissioning stage.
Assist in the development of training plans to enhance the skills of refrigeration team members to perform specialized projects.
